Right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract for a paid course within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period begins enter the start of the period depending on the type of service.
Exercising the right
Withdrawal is made by a clear statement to:

Sending the statement in good time is sufficient to meet the deadline.
Consequences of withdrawal
Payments already made are refunded without undue delay and within fourteen days at the latest, using the same means of payment as the booking, at no extra charge.
Early expiry
For an online course that is available immediately and in full, the right of withdrawal may expire early — this requires explicit consent and acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal, both within the booking flow. Include only if the booking flow actually collects this

Date-bound leisure events
For contracts for services connected with leisure activities that are scheduled for a specific date, the right of withdrawal may be excluded under § 312g (2) no. 9 BGB. Whether the in-person courses fall under this must be clarified before launch. Have a lawyer review
