Every day at 11:11 — in your own time zone. A minute is small enough to start today.
A person who takes one minute of inner peace contributes to a culture of peace. Nothing more is needed to take part: no experience, no equipment, no belief.
Sixty seconds, guided or silent. On your phone, at your desk, with your eyes closed.
Your local time. Not globally synchronised, but the same moment in everyone’s own day.
A reminder you choose yourself. No score, no missed days.
The Armistice of Compiègne took effect at eleven in the morning and ended the First World War. The number has stood for the end of a war ever since.
We don't treat it as a symbol or a sign, but as a daily reminder of something plain: peace starts at a particular moment. Ours is 11:11 — every day, in your own time zone.
To be exact: the armistice took effect at 11:00 Paris time. The three elevens are the day, the month and the hour. Our minute sits one digit away from it, so that it stays a daily appointment rather than an act of remembrance.
The minute itself needs no sign-up — it runs straight away. We only need an email address so a reminder reaches you tomorrow at 11:11. One field, nothing else.
Minute of Peace was started by people in the tradition of Gurumahan and Mahashakthiyogam, and is carried by Universal Peace Foundation Europe e.V. The daily minute itself asks for none of it: no membership, no belief, no prior knowledge.
Anyone who wants to know more about the tradition will find it in full — voluntarily, in a place of its own.

No cost, no membership, no condition. You can switch off each reminder individually and delete your data at any time.
Everyone takes the daily minute alone. Once a week there is a guided meditation everyone can join at the same time — online, no camera, no names, no chat. Only the number of people present is visible.
Day, time, length and facilitator will be set and announced here. Open
If you are registered, you get a reminder and a link. Nothing else.
No video tiles, no round of introductions. Presence without performance.
The map shows where the moment currently is, and which cities people are taking part in. At city level, never more precise. No names, no leaderboard, no invented dots.

Illustrations, not photographs of participants. Pictures of real people and their words will follow once they are available with written consent. Material open
The daily minute is free, and always will be. Beyond it there are introductions and deeper programmes with fixed dates, prices including VAT, and clearly stated prerequisites.
Title, date, city, length, language, price. Course list open
Prerequisites are named before the price, so nobody books a course they cannot attend.
Right of withdrawal, terms and cancellation conditions appear in full on every course page.
Anyone who lives the practice regularly can guide people around them: groups, events, a weekly session. There is training, material and a contact person for it — no sales, no quota.

The movement has a spiritual origin, which we name openly. The daily minute itself asks for no belief and no membership. If you only want a minute of quiet, that is exactly what you get.
No. The minute, the reminder, the app and the weekly meditation are free. Only courses and deeper programmes are paid, with clearly stated prices.
So the reminder reaches you and you can find your settings again without creating a password. You can switch off each message individually and delete everything at any time.
At most one reminder a day, through exactly one channel. After a missed day we write nothing. Courses and news are off by default.
No. 11:11 is the shared reference point, not a condition. If you take your minute at 15:40, it counts just the same.
The screen darkens, the 11:11 mark breathes, and after sixty seconds a single tone sounds. With or without a voice, with sound or muted — and fully usable with your eyes closed.
